It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences.

I am a Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging who specializes in workshop facilitation, program and resource development, organizational strategy, and development. I believe that every employee must have access to acceptance, advancement, and opportunities within their workplace.
I got started with DEI even before it was officially part of my role. My lived experiences guided me to develop workshops on combatting workplace bias and leading classes and training on intercultural communication. I became an #IamRemarkable facilitator dedicated to using this workshop to help members of historically excluded groups promote themselves and let go of the stigma surrounding self-advocacy. I founded one of my organization's first affinity groups for Black employees and allies to have a safe and empowering space at work.
In my current Director role, I am able to design training modules, create and curate educational programming, conduct regular audits of standard operating procedures throughout the organization to ensure equity and inclusion, work with members of the senior leadership team, and work with our nine employee resource groups to achieve their short- and long-term goals.
In addition to my career obligations, I earned a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Analytics and Management from American University. I also obtained certificates in Diversity and Inclusion in Human Resources from Cornell University and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida. I am a Gallup-certified Strengths Finder coach. I also hold a BA in Women's and Gender Studies from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.
A New Yorker at heart, I have a passion for people and cultures that I explore through my work and also my travels. When not at work or immersed in graduate school assignments, I spend my days with my cat Primrose cultivating new talents like calligraphy and playing the ukulele.
